How to check a 6 Club APK is genuine before you install it
Because the Android app is installed from outside the Play Store, anyone can make a file with the same name and icon. A modified APK can record your login, swap payment details or simply show fake balances. A few minutes of checking before you tap Install avoids all of that.
Quick answer
Download only from the official 6 Club download button, never from a file sent in a chat or a 'mod' site. Before installing, check that the file came from that source, that its size matches what the download page shows, and that Android's installer does not request unusual permissions such as SMS, accessibility or device admin. Updates must install over the existing app; if Android reports a signature conflict, stop and reinstall from the official source.
Why fake APKs exist
Sideloaded apps skip the store review that catches many malicious copies. That makes a popular gaming app an attractive disguise: people expect to install it from a link, they expect to type a phone number and OTP into it, and they expect it to ask for payment. A fake only has to look right for a few minutes to collect what it needs.
The copies usually arrive through messages promising 'unlimited coins', 'prediction hacks' or 'VIP versions'. Nothing in a game client can change server-side results, so any file promising that is lying about what it does, and the lie is the warning.
Step 1: check where the file came from
The source matters more than anything you can inspect afterwards. Start from the official download page or the download button inside the official web app, and let the browser save the file itself. Avoid files forwarded in WhatsApp or Telegram groups, links in video descriptions, and mirror sites that list many apps.
This guide site does not host APK files. Our download page explains the process and points to the official route; if any page offers you an APK 'from 6club.ai', it is not from us.
Step 2: check the file before installing
Open your Downloads folder and look at the file before tapping it. These checks take less than a minute.
- The file name ends in .apk, not .apk.zip, .exe or a double extension.
- The size is close to what the official download page states. A file far smaller or larger is not the same build.
- There is only one copy. Delete older or duplicate downloads so you do not install the wrong one.
- Your phone's security scan (Play Protect or the manufacturer's scanner) does not flag it. A warning is a reason to stop, not to tap 'install anyway'.
Step 3: read the permissions
A gaming app needs internet access and, sometimes, storage or notifications. It has no reason to read your SMS, use accessibility services, become a device administrator or draw over other apps. Those permissions let malware read OTPs, tap buttons for you and hide itself.
| Permission | Expected for a game? | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Internet / network | Yes | Needed to load games and your account |
| Notifications | Reasonable | Used for announcements and alerts |
| Read SMS | No | Can capture login and banking OTPs |
| Accessibility service | No | Can read the screen and tap for you |
| Device administrator | No | Makes the app hard to remove |
| Display over other apps | No | Can place fake screens over real ones |
Step 4: handle updates the safe way
Android only lets an update install over an app signed with the same key. If you install an update and Android says the package conflicts with an existing one, or offers to uninstall the old app first, the new file was signed by someone else. Stop there. Delete the downloaded file, and if you need the update, fetch it again from the official route.
Check the installed version from the app's settings or about screen, and compare it with what the official download page offers. Do not install 'newer' versions found elsewhere.
If you think you installed a fake
Act quickly and in this order: turn on airplane mode, uninstall the suspicious app (remove any device-administrator rights first if Android blocks the uninstall), and run your phone's security scan. Then, from the genuine app, change your password.
If you entered banking details or a UPI PIN into the fake, contact your bank straight away. Report the incident to in-app customer care so the account can be watched for unusual activity. In India you can also report cyber fraud through the national cybercrime portal.
Install it the right way
Our download page walks through the official route for Android and the home-screen web app option for iPhone, including how to allow installs from your browser and turn that setting off again afterwards. Once installed, the registration guide takes you through creating your account.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 6 Club app on the Google Play Store?+
Gaming apps of this type are usually distributed as an APK from the official website rather than through the Play Store. Treat any store listing or third-party site with the same name as unverified unless the official download page points to it.
Can a modified APK predict WinGo or colour results?+
No. Results are decided on the platform's servers, not in the app on your phone. A file claiming to predict or hack results is a scam and is likely to steal your login.
What size should the APK be?+
Use the size stated on the official download page at the time you download, because it changes between versions. A file that is very different from that figure is not the same build.
Should I leave 'install unknown apps' turned on?+
No. Allow it for your browser only while installing, then switch it off again so other apps cannot install files silently.
Can I use the app on an iPhone?+
iPhones do not install APK files. The usual option is the web app added to the home screen from Safari; our download guide explains the steps.
